Our wedding album binder was damaged by mildew in a problem with a damp basement caused by some flooding when a pipe burst last fall of 2019. I called Bella Becho and talked to Deborah, she was so helpful and knew exactly how to handle my problem and went over the process of what they would be doing to repair my wedding binder back to it’s original glory, she went over the cost and options for shipping just really covered everything so efficiently . I took my most cherished Bible to Bella Becho that I use in my ministry everyday. I have had it since the early 1970’s and it was falling apart. The reconstituted wedding album is beautiful! The upgraded cover and internals assured us that the album will outlive us. Rather than put the album in some forgotten place, we keep it on our dining room table for visitors to see. Your work has made a huge difference in looking back in time.

When our wedding album from 1979 was in its 43rd year the cover material began to deteriorate, Bella Becho knew exactly what to do and how to restore, or in our case, recreate our wedding album. I say recreate because not only did the album covers need replaced, the silk liners on the insides of the covers were badly faded…

Our album ended up not getting restored, but rather recreated, with improvements. Jeff at Bella Becho discussed all of the details at length with me and thoroughly covered all of the material and embossing options for the new album. We ended up with a much better version of our original album, made with better materials, that fit our original pages better than our old album. We chose embossing which was very close to our original, and reused the brass oval framed cover photo from our original album. The result is an album that looks like our original, but it’s better!

When the album was about done, I asked Jeff if Bella Becho could make an attractive storage box for the new album to protect it from dust, fading, and accidents. He discussed this with Deborah, the founder and owner of Bella Becho. They came up with a beautiful box, coordinated and embossed to compliment and protect the album wherever, and however long it may be stored.

We are very pleased with the results and with the experience we had working with Bella Becho. They were able to do things for us that I don’t think we could have gotten done anywhere else. This custom work was not inexpensive, and it took time to plan, to schedule, and to create, but it turned our worn out old wedding album into a beautiful, durable, and well protected family heirloom. When I sent Bella Becho my 31 year old Wedding Album it was in desperate need of repair. At first I was surprised at the cost to replace the pseudo leather on our wedding album that had degraded despite good storage as I discovered that our wedding album was not real leather and had become sticky and messy.

I needed several years of genealogy work put into book form. I sent Bella Becho a very rough manuscript of about 250 pages. They worked with me to determine book style, covering, lettering and form for the book. The final project exceeded all expectations. It is fabulous! I can’t recommend them any higher as they did a superb job.

They replaced an old Art Leather wedding album cover that had become sticky and deteriorated. After searching for options to replace or repair my album, Bella Becho was the best option. While I was a little concerned about mailing my old album(without the pictures), it was a an easy process and they did a fabulous job. I received a call from the company as soon as they received my album and they were very helpful in explaining my options. I decided to go with a real leather cover and they were able to add the same lettering as my original had. While I think the price was a little high, I am very pleased with their work and I would definitely recommend working with this great group to help you preserve your special keepsakes!

My daughter had two books that she uses all the time- first for her Masters, now she will be using them for her PhD. The covers were falling off and the first page of one of the books had torn off. These are books she will be using the rest of her academic life. She had notes in the margins. One of the books had great margins, the other not. The only thing that was ok was the two books were the same size. My daughter had been working with another binding company that appeared interested, asked for all the information and never got back to her. Not so Bella Becho Book & Printing. I cannot say enough positive about this experience. I have had several bibles rebound in goatskin leather rather than replacing, as the pages have years of notes, and to replace with similar “paper quality”, I would likely need to upgrade to a high quality leather bible. Once that decision is made, then do I want to add a little extra expense in order to customize, to make it mine? If so, then I wholeheartedly can affirm BellaBecho for their creative design team, attention to details, and exceptional craftsmanship. When I told Deborah that I lived on a hobby farm with goats, named Rose-N-Does, and my favorite goat was named Cali; her design for a custom rebind produced a goat, named Cali, with a rose; a family legacy. My wife and I sent our 33 year old wedding album cover to Bella Becho Book Bindery (i.e., Deborah and Team) for an extensive rehab. The original cover (faux leather) deteriorated and essentially rendered our treasured wedding album not user/handling friendly. The cover was refurbished with top grain cowhide from Italy, and embossed to match our original cover (actually “exceeded” the quality of our original cover). The final work product was fantastic. I was heartbroken when I saw what had happened to my wedding album. We had the cover that deteriorates over time. Bella Becho not only fixed our issue, they gave me back a better product that I originally had. The album is absolutely beautiful and the process couldn’t have been easier and the staff is fun to work with. We got married in 1985 so I did not hold much hope that we could get our album fixed. But Bella Becho did a beautiful job.

I contacted Bella Becho in May 2021 about restoring a Bible my husband had purchased in 1987. He just re-dedicated his life to Jesus and wrote in it many things. He took it everywhere. In a few years the binding gave way and he started losing pages. We were unable to replace it, so put it on a shelf. In May I had an idea to have that Bible restored. I researched companies and chose Bella to do the restoration. I sent them some pictures. They got back to me the same day with an estimate. The next day I sent them the Bible. They called me with a plan and worked with me to make sure it was back by Father’s Day. They did an excellent job. The cover of my wedding album from 1993 was disintegrating. Bella Becho rebound it for me in a beautiful leather of my choice. They were able to add the album title, our names, and year of wedding on the front so it is very similar to the original. They were also able to add this information to the spine which was nice. Bella Becho’s instructions were easy to follow for removing my photo pages from the original album and for shipping the cover to them. A staff member called me to verify exactly what I wanted. Dictionary Restoration

Deborah and her team are nothing short of miracle-workers.
There aren’t enough accolades to describe the restoration that they achieved with an heirloom 1935 Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary that my father had as a child. Both the front cover and spine were torn off and gone. Several of the onion skin pages were torn. It had been on my parents and then, our shelves for half a century. We were prepared to throw it away because of its seemingly unredeemable condition.
And then, we discovered the artistry of Deborah and her team at Bella Becho.

Our mother told her 5 children that she wanted one thing for their 60th wedding anniversary; her wedding album restored. I left my beloved Golden Book of Christmas with the bindery to have the cracked and poorly taped binding replaced. Important to save: the inscription from my grandparents and the delightful illustrations on the inside covers and endpapers. We even asked to have the worn and stained spots retained to show the years of love! I just got the book back and it is wonderful – sturdily covered, inscription in place, and ready for me to read to my grandchildren this Christmas. It will last several more generations now!

The work done on my 1940 childhood books was exceptional. My correspondence with Deborah was so satisfying and she was such a great help in deciding how to repair my books. These books will be a gift to my granddaughter when her first child is born- she will preserve the books for me.

Bella Becho did a great job of restoring our 40-year old wedding album! The material on the wedding album cover had deteriorated so much, I had to seek out professionals to repair it. From the initial email, everyone I communicated with at Bella Becho was friendly and eager to accomplish what I wanted! I probably spoke to 3 or 4 employees; they were all very helpful, easy to communicate with, and above all, wanted the job to be done right.

The restored project was everything I had hoped! One of the employees even suggested having our names and date embossed on the front. That was an awesome idea and it looked great on the album cover! It was worth the wait (about 8 weeks) to have the job done to perfection!

I researched several binderies to restore our family bible that was from the 1800’s. Once I spoke to Bella Becho I was certain they were the best people to handle this project. I received several e-mails regarding their basic restoration work and pricing. I also spoke to them several times before sending the bible to be sure that I understood the process of the restoration. Once they received the bible, they inspected it to see what work was needed. I received a call from them to discuss everything that needed to be repaired and pricing. They also told me about some things that I would not have known about that were important to repair to maintain the integrity of our bible.
